It is a unique opportunity for children between 10 and 16 years old affected by oncological and haematological diseases.

It is the possibility to put a STOP to the conditioning and the limits imposed by disease and start a great new adventure together with children of the same age from all around the world, who share similar experiences.

It is the realization of a program of therapeutic recreation through which children can rediscover happiness and forget, for a moment, about their troubles. They are encouraged to consider disease from a different point of view, one which highlights potentialities rather than impose limits.

Punto a Campo is a project of the Fondazione Alberto Rangoni for children between 10 and 16 years old affected by serious oncological or haematological diseases. It allows them to participate in specifically structured summer camps at no cost to their families.

From early morning walks to bonfires in the evening, the young participants turn into naturalists and fishermen, athletes and actors, equestrians and writers, sculptors and painters, poets and photographers, singers and outdoorsmen, canoeists, clowns and musicians. Everything takes place under the close supervision of our qualified chaperones, members of the staff and other volunteers.

Children enjoy sharing theatre skits, evening activities, masquerades, dances and songs, even at every meal and also evening chats in their cabins before going to sleep. The experience in these camps is so much more than just a fun holiday!

Camp represents a crucial moment in their life: the memory of it encourages and supports them, strengthening their self-assurance and determination, necessary to fight against disease throughout the whole year.
